The Skye Junior Sideguard converts your ellska Skye Cot from a baby cot to a toddler bed.

For 15 years we've been dressing your child on their sleep journey. Now it's time to introduce another timeless new product to hold your most treasured love during sleep.

The Skye Junior Sideguard converts your ellska Skye Cot from a baby cot to a toddler bed. When your mini is ready to transition to a big bed (from 2 years old), the Junior Sidegurad replaces one side of the cot, to turn your cot into a toddler bed. The Sideguard is designed to prevent your little one from falling out of bed, as they practice staying in once place. An ideal transition step from cot to a big bed, the Junior Sideguard will give you peace of mind and create a safer sleep space for your toddler.

MATERIALS:

Natural Beechwood Timber and non-toxic clear lacquer for protection.

Skye is expertly engineered from FSC-Certified Beechwood with a clear non-toxic lacquer, and rigorously tested and approved for safety and compliance in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the USA.

CARE:

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a gentle soap mixed with warm water. Do not use harsh cleaning products, chemicals or hard bristle brushes to clean as these may cause damage to the natural wood surface or top coating protector. Vacuum regulary to remove any dirt and dust that may have settled.
Store in original box if possible, otherwise ensure all core parts are kept together with light padding. We suggest wrapping in an old sheet or doona/duvet cover or plastic outer to protect from moisture and dust. Ensure small parts are kept together for ease of future assembly.

PLEASE NOTE: This item is only suitable to use with the ellska Skye Cot. This is the sideguard only. You need to purchase the cot and a mattress seperately.

WARNINGS:

Never wrap your mattress in plastic or any other unbreathable plastic material while in use. Do not use a mattress topper – these will reduce the firmness required for safe sleeping and pose as a suffocation hazard. Please ensure to replace your child’s mattress if it has signs of wear and tear, staining, loss of firmness or sagging in fabric, torn fabrication on the outside or signs of mould. When not in use please ensure to store in a well-ventilated place, away from dampness or humidity. Please ensure to use the appropriate and well-fitting bedding items when using the Lyra Cot. To prevent falls: the base of this cot should be adjusted to the lowest position before the child can sit up, remove height extenders in toddler bed configuration.
