You'll find it difficult to touch or reach the perineal area after giving birth. This is where the handheld peri-bottle comes in handy, making it easier to wash the area thoroughly each time you use the bathroom. It also has a soothing effect and helps reduce infection and speed up healing.
You can use it together with a perineal ice pack for additional relief and to reduce swelling, especially if you experienced tearing and require stitches.
